ORSA U17 at Kinzua - 06/08/14

posted Jun 16, 2014, 10:52 AM by Thomas Pfennigwerth
u17 completed an unbeaten season with a 6-4 win away at Kinzua.
It was 5 wins and 2 draws, likely tied with Mercer and Meadville for top spot in the division.

As so often this season, top scorer Max Lane lead the way with 4 goals to end the season with a remarkable 20 goals in 7 games this season.  Bailey Pifer got her 3rd of the season and Luke Dye got his fifth as the team fought to another hard earned victory against a solid Kinzua team.  ORSA were never really in trouble, despite having to overcome Coach Euchlar being in charge, going 2-0 up and never losing the lead.  The defense was a little susceptible to the through ball and will have to be sharper going into the tournament, both in playing the offside trap and not being too keen to win the ball, just holding the line.
A good win and a successful season.
