ORSA U12 at MSA - 06/01/14

ORSA U12s won at Edinboro against Millcreek Soccer Academy 7-3 to take their season total to 2-2-1. Ryder Brophy scored two goals in the first half followed by a well-placed direct kick by Reece Henderson to go ahead at the half 3-1. The second half saw Brophy score two more goals, followed by a goal by Noah Kockler and another by Logan Burchfield to round out ORSA's scoring. Chase Anderson was named Player of the Match for his outstanding defensive play in keeping MSA to the outside of the field, excellent tracking, and pushing the ball forward and into scoring position. Goal tending responsibilities were shared by Kockler and Bryce Keas.

ORSA U12 at Grove City - 05/18/14

ORSA U12's won at Grove City 5-3. Ryder Brophy scored two goals in the first half with offensive help from Rex Montgomery and Reece Henderson. Bryce Keas, Keegan Hoover, Logan Burchfield, and Landon English ran a tough defense to keep Grove City to minimal shots on goal and help distribute the ball to the offense. Grove City scored off a direct kick to end the half at 2-2. ORSA mixed things up in the second half, running a new defensive pattern. This created fewer opportunities for Grove City to shoot keeping them to only one goal in the second half. Meanwhile, Brophy scored three more goals to finalize the score at 5-3. Multiple shots by Montgomery and Henderson were unable to connect with the net. Bryce Keas was named Player of the Match for his strong defensive play and goal-tending responsibilities. Noah Kockler shared goal-tending responsibilities.

ORSA U12 vs Greenville - 05/04/14

The ORSA U12s lost a home game to Greenville 7-0. Despite continued growth and development, the inexperienced Force were shut down by a more experienced Greenville defense. The offensive trio of Ryder Brophy, Rex Montgomery, and Reece Henderson created several scoring opportunities but were unable to meet the back of the net. The midfield Alexis Bliss, Ali Carter, and Wes Brooks continued to press forward and recover well on defense but could not stop the powerhouse Greenville team. Rex Montgomery was named Player of the Match for his continued growth and strong play during the game.


ORSA Force U12 vs Kinzua 4/27/14

ORSA U12s tied Kinzua at home 6-6. An early goal by Ryder Brophy gave the Force an early 1-0 lead. Kinzua answered with three goals before Reece Henderson scored the Force's second goal. ORSA's third goal came from some top-notched offensive passing between Alexis Bliss, Jeremy Miller, and Rex Montgomery to get the ball to Brophy for his second goal taking the Force to a tie at halftime of 3-3. Kinzua scored three more goals in the second half only to be answered by Brophy with three breakaway goals for the Force. Brophy's 5 goal game earned him Player of the Match. Noah Kockler and Bryce Keas shared goal-tending responsibilities.

ORSA vs Titusville 4/13/14

ORSA U12s lost a hard fought game at home to Titusville 3-2. ORSA was behind at the half 0-2. The U12s first goal of the new season came as Noah Kockler connected with the back of the net off an assist from Ryder Brophy. Reece Henderson scored the Force’s second goal only to have Titusville score their third and final goal soon afterward. Tough defense was provided by Logan Burchfield and Chase Anderson as they continually cleared the ball from center and ran down players obstructing many scoring possibilities for Titusville. Kockler was named Player of the Match for his outstanding goal-keeping and second half goal. Goal tending responsibility was shared by Kockler and Bryce Keas.
