ORSA U12 at Clarion - 09/21/14

ORSA U-12 played a great game on Sunday getting full points by winning at Clarion 3-0.  ORSA controlled much of the possession and out-shot the Clarion team throughout the game but could not break the deadlock until just before half-time.  A great run and cross found a perfectly positioned wing player for the difficult finish, made to look easy and the 1-0 lead.  In the second half ORSA continued to dominate the possession and shut down the Clarion offense.  Again ORSA controlled the play of the game and made several runs down the wings creating chances and setting up plays.  Shortly after the second half began our Point player found some space and took an open field shot to give the defense some breathing room making it 2-0.  Solid defense from our goalie and backs created more chances for the wings to move the ball forward and control the play in the Clarion half of the field.  As the rains came pouring down, ORSA added their third goal and closed the door on Clarion, finishing out the game as strong as we started, earning a well deserved 3-0 win and all three points.
